Taking a break

It’s my last day of work for 2022 - I’m off from today until the 3rd of January, which will be my longest break since my honeymoon. I’m looking forward to taking some time off: we’ve got some Christmassy things planned for tomorrow, and it’s my daughter’s second birthday in between Christmas and New Year’s day (and I’m very excited for her to get the present we bought her).

Hopefully this will mean I get some time to relax and recuperate a bit. I’m going to try and avoid doing any code-related things, but we’ll see how well that goes. I’m also hoping to get out for some longer bike rides as I won’t have my commute to provide me with the exercise.

Anyway, merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and happy new year to anyone reading.
